CELEBRATING AUSTRALIAN OPEN 2026 WITH A BALTER
Ash Barty has been part of the Balter family for years. She’s brought her A-game to the Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day, we’ve hosted her birthday at the Currumbin Taproom, and we’ve even seen her toast a Grand Slam victory with a cheeky XPA.
So, when thinking of someone to help us celebrate Balter being an official partner of the Australian Open, the choice was obvious. We got the three-time Grand Slam winner together with three-time World Surfing Champ Mick Fanning for a hit.
Filming at the iconic Pat Rafter Arena, the energy was popping off like balls from one of those machine things. Watching Mick try to return a serve from Ash was worth the price of admission alone, but the real star (at least in his own mind) was Luke Tremewen as ‘The Ball Boy’.
While Ash and Mick were busy being athletic icons, Luke wove through the courts with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for the front of the line at a kebab shop. While some were born to win, others were definitely born to retrieve - balls, beer, there’s nothing he can’t nab.

AN ACE FOR YOUR FACE
Between the laughs, the missed serves, and Luke nearly taking out a camera crew in pursuit of a stray ball, we captured something pretty special. A celebration of two absolute champions toasting the joy of an Aussie summer.
