What a rip-roaring Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beer Countdown! The Balter crew wants to extend a massive thank you to everyone who swarmed the brewery, raised a tinnie, and turned the joint into a full house enjoyment! And to everyone who voted from afar and celebrated online and in our DM's a massive thank you — you’re all the reason we do what we do. Now that we've recovered from the party (mostly), we wanted to share a few post Hottest Hundred thoughts. 

#2 XPA Shines 

Our flagship XPA has once again found its place among Australia's favourite beers, claiming second spot. That's seven years in a row on the podium, and we're feeling pretty damn proud — Your continuous support is never lost on us and definitely has the team buzzing to start the year. 

#45 New Kid on the Block: Cerveza

This newbie didn't just dip its toes into the Hottest 100; it cannonballed straight into #45 but also the #1 new beer in the top 100. It's always nerve-wracking introducing a new beer, but you guys made sure Cerveza felt right at home in the Hottest 100. Cheers for embracing the new kid with open arms.

#23, #42, #72 

Speaking of love, our Eazy Hazy and Hazy beers held their own, securing spots at #23 and #42, respectively. These beers have been turning taste buds into loyal fans, and it warms our hearts to see them get the recognition they deserve. Lastly, to our Captain Sensible, #72 and the Rocky Balboa of mid-strengths, punching above its weight by proving that you don’t have to compromise on flavour to keep things sensible. 

A bit like having a rock band's entire discography in the charts, but for beer… 

We're proud to share the spotlight with Coopers, as we both had the most beers landing in the top hundred. It speaks volumes about the diverse flavours we aim to bring to your tables (or mouths?), and we're truly thankful for your appreciation. 

Raising a tinnie to you 

As we soak in the post-countdown glory, we reflect on the crazy journey we've had and the incredible community that surrounds us, and to the GABS team that has provided us with this platform to celebrate. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or recently joined the Balter community, your support is the backbone of what we do.
